If there’s one major plus point that all of Introversion Software’s gaming releases have shared, it’s the incredible sense of style. From the simple, clean cut looks of hacking thriller Uplink, to the incredibly gorgeous voxel-like looks of RTS-lite Darwinia, and finally  the glowing, simplistic view of the world of Defcon, this small band of independent developers has managed to hit a stylistic nerve with gamers. Need for Speed Carbon

The portable edition of Need for Speed Carbon has its own story, which is nice and meets Sony’s ambitions to have original content for the PSP, and not just downsized versions. However, it gets a bit ridiculous at times, as is the case here. The story is only superficially different - you still battle for turf in the city as a gang leader - so why bother changing it at all? Pokémon Mystery Dungeon

I’ve never really wanted to be a Pokémon, but someone apparently does. Why else would Nintendo market the two Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games as your first time actually playing a Pokémon in a regular Pokémon game? It actually sounds a bit desperate, but it is a pretty solid game, and a great choice for fans. Read more
