Game publishers have finally started to see the value of getting game trailers played on prime time television and movie previews. The Gears of War “Mad World” commercial really grabbed you and made you feel you were right there with Marcus Fenix, running down debris-filled alleys while being hunted. So, it wasn’t too long ago at a movie theater that I saw the trailer for Lost Planet: Extreme Condition during the previews. It instantly convinced me that it was going to be an awesome game. I was wrong. Lost Planet is just a good, solid game. It’s got decent graphics and is fun and easy to play. However, there were some flaws that I found equally frustrating. Read more

Grand Theft Auto IV Trailer

Rockstar has released the official trailer to the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto IV. From the looks of it, it’s going to take the place in New York City and you’ll play someone from the Russian Mafia, which I’m sure will do wonders for foreign relations. While you’re there, also check out Manhunt 2, which is also bound to be banned in several countries around the world.

Sony prepping 80GB model of the PS3

It appears Sony is scrambling around trying to figure out what model it wants to sell ultimately. Reports have come in that Sony has filed an FCC to release an 80 GB version of the PS3. The filing is required because of changes it is making to the Bluetooth module. No how much or when this model will come out. Could it be that Sony is starting to get the hint yet?
