Psyonix Studios has announced that its Arena-based Vehicle Sports game has gone Gold. Bare with me here, as it has quite the name: Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, or SARPBC for short. SARPBC features - you guessed it! - rocket-powered cars that are capable of supersonic speeds with incredible physics based maneuverability. Empire: Total War Gameplay

Since GTA IV, there has only been one game on my horizon, that I sit anxiously at my desk, waiting for the next batch of Screenshots or Gameplay to be released. Smoking Gun secures Private Funding

Smoking Gun Interactive has announced that it has recently finalized a multi-year, multi-million dollar financing agreement with a group of private investors. It will use this money to expand its studio and start the development of a yet-to-be-announced project. Why should we care? Smoking Gun Interactive was the creative force behind Company of Heroes, one of the most highly rated strategy games ever. Could they have plans on developing a new game in the line of Company of Heroes? Or do they have even bigger plans for the future?

Dead Space goes GOLD!

Electronic Arts Inc, has announced that Dead Space has gone GOLD! One of the most highly anticipated games of the year, Dead Space will ship for the consoles on October 14, while PC Gamers will have to wait until the 20th. (European Release: October 24th) Read more

Bomberman!

Hudson Entertainment announced today that Bomberman Ultra, a PLAYSTATION®Network digital download, will be available this winter. Bomberman has always been a fan favorite and this latest installment furthers the series along. Customizeable Bomberman characters, 8-player Multiplayer action, and 14 Arenas to battle it all out bring the Bomberman franchise to the PS3 in style!

Otherland MMOG Announced!

Good news for Tad William (the author) fans! Otherland is being turned into a MMOG due to hit PC’s in 2010. dtp entertainment and developer RealU are teaming up to create a game based on the novels, but not one that retells the story. Apparently Tad Williams will also have a say in the creation of the game which will feature the original characters from the Novels as the player creates their own story within the world. Read more
