N-gage 20, how to do it right
March 21, 2007 by tdhedengren
The N-gage is coming back, did you hear about this? While I’m writing this, we don’t really know anything other than that. Nokia is to “bare it all” any day now, and I’m dying to know what they’re up to.
Or not dying perhaps, since N-gage and the whole concept of a mobile phone/gaming system is less hot today than it was when N-gage first was announced. They blew it, and they blew it because they didn’t make sure that the system was playable. The second attempt, N-gage QD, was better but not good enough.
Nokia won’t make the same mistake again, I’m sure. Perhaps the new N-gage is just a series of “game-oriented phones” what do I know? I’m sure they will work. If they really wanted to make it work though, they would sign a deal with Blizzard and do World of Warcraft “Islands”. Small online worlds for you to travel to with scaled down versions of your characters. 3G, always online, always in Azeroth.
N-gage with World of Warcraft support would sell well to online gaming junkies. Are you paying attention in Finland?
Flex your gamer muscles and submit this article to N4G.com.

Lorien may finally get to play Worms World Party on his N-gage!
Man, that brings back some memories! Too bad the original was designed by 4 year olds. No offense to 4 year old, mind you.
