In case you’ve not heard, PTD Magazine has three job openings available for the taking. As we work on our third quarter goals in the next few months, we would love to fill the news editor position with a reader from the ranks of the PTD Army. If you’re interested in working in our virtual office, slinging new-bits to our rabid fans, read on.
Since we have a few excellent resumes on our desk already, we figure we’d have a intern-showdown to crown the future newsie-king. We’re going to start one-week trials next Monday, so if you have any interest in working for PTD, drop us a line so we can include you in the tom-foolery.
The concept is simple: we’ll give each applicant one week at the helm of the news ship, letting them pick what news to post and what images to push. After the week is out, the intern-editor will solicit feedback from you, the reader, which will then be passed up the line to us. After everyone has had a chance to steer we’ll shift through the work, and the feedback, and decide who the next news-boss is.
As we want this to be a proper internship, we’ll be providing a gentle stipend for everyone who participates. If you’ve not pinged us about this opportunity yet, make sure you do that before the week is out.
