Halo 3 ‘Superintendent’ Trailer Finally Debuts

Bungie releases the long awaited Superintendent trailer, debuting the next chapter of Halo 3’s Campaign.After months of being only myth and rumor, the “Keep it Clean” trailer details a futuristic metropolis that is soon turned to ruin as an Oribital Drop Pod falls from the sky towards the burning city.  Little is known about the game, however the description found in the Xbox Live Marketplace drops a few hints.

“High action and deep mystery await players in this new Halo 3 campaign experience. Prepare to drop.”

The rumor mill has been more than active today.  Some believe that a January 6th 2009 release date is seen in a screen grab and others believe that the campaign will follow the ODST Hell Jumpers instead of the Master Chief.  I personally think the game will follow the early adventures of the Spartans recounted in Eric Nylund’s novel, Halo: First Strike.  Whatever happens, Halo 3 is going to be hot on everybody’s radars again as more details are unveiled.
