Social Gaming Extends to Mobile Platforms
September 15, 2008 by JayPTD
Online social gaming no longer has to be confined to computers and consoles.
Mytopia, known for their efforts in real-time cross-platform gaming, have announced at the CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment 2008 that they plan to expand their online social gaming community from Facebook, Myspace, Bebo, hi5 and Friendster, to mobile devices such as the Iphone, Blackberry, Symbian, PalmOS and Windows Mobile.
This expansion will allow gamers to take advantage of Mytopia’s virtual world across all networks and devices. Users of both online and social devices will have the opportunity to play games such as Chess, Checkers or Bingo and earn currency to purchase real and virtual prizes at the Shop.
The Mytopia game community is powered by RUGS, the company’s “patent-pending write once run anywhere” network. Anyone who wishes to find out more information about this free-to-play service can go here.
