AGEOD, hot off its successes with its American Civil War and Napoleon’s Campaigns releases, is getting ready to release its latest innovative strategy game: World War One: La Grande Guerre 14-18. AGEOD’s new game will put you at the helm of one the 8 Super Powers of the time period, allowing you to pick generals, train units, and decide the best course of action to take as the war unfolds. Will you do as Sir Winston Churchill, and try to open another front by landing troops in Gallipoli? Will your allies back your decision? Or will the move weaken your forces along the front, allowing the Huns to finally make that breakthrough?
AGEOD, known for its innovative features, has included many in this upcoming release. Not only will you be able to pick which Generals will control your Armies and Fleets, you’ll also have to coordinate attacks with your allies, manage troops, negotiate diplomatically and locally, and back up every decision with military force!
A number of scenarios and Grand Campaigns are available to play, inclduing one that spans all four years, along with several ‘what-if’ scenarios. Gamers will have to think carefully and expect the unexpected as they take history into their own hands.
World War One: La Grande Guerre 14-18 is set for a 11/11/2008 release date (North America).
