DotEmu revolutionizes Classic Gaming

Anyone who’s anyone in the gaming community has played their favorite classic games via an emulator. The fact of the matter is the originals you bought are stuck so far in the back of the attic that it is impossible to play them for fear of blowing up your antique, scratch that, beloved well aged console. Or for the extremely avid gamer, so worn out that the disks have burn mask in them.  Don’t worry, I was far away from all the vintage consoles that abide in my house when I dared to utter those words.

DotEmu has been observant of the feeming need of gamers to play their classic games and thus embarked on the classic quest to save the empire, I mean games.  Beginning this process, naturally, meant acquiring licenses and committing to making software that is an exact replica of the original, though enhanced features are an option.  With the desire to rejuvenate our age old friends and update their look, DotEmu has brought BitRabbit aboard to speed up the process.

Using the RabbitFactory Technology you should be able to be gaming by phone with outstanding graphics as fast as they can pump out the games.  The art is stunning and the imagery change over is virtually flawless, making classic gaming modernized almost better than the original. A few of the games that are already ported are Krypton EGG, Nicky Boom, Nicky Boom 2, Down Hill Challenge, Grand prix 500, and Grand prix 500 2.  Games will be available on the web, PC, and/or mobile.

As I said before, I promise, I am very far away from any vintage consoles, unless they have been hacked to have much updated motherboards and processors, they cannot hear a word uttered here.  So, grab your phones, and get ready for the newest releases that are set to come out this summer.
